Miss Clara E. Lyons and Francis "Frank" Beach were married in 1874. They had a daughter, Bessie A. Beach, and a son Malcom Beach, living their married lives in Sandy Creek area, Oswego, NYS.

Mrs. Frank Beach, 72, died Sunday morning, February 4, 1934 at her home in the village following an illness of several years. Clara Elizabeth Lyon was born in Stonington, Canada, March 8, 1861, the daughter of Edwin Lyon and Rebecca Reynolds Lyon. When she was three years old, the family moved to Pulaski. She taught school for several years prior to her marriage January 31, 1878 to Frank Beach of Boylston. Their married life, for the most part was spent in Lacona, except for five years when they lived in Olean, NY. Besides her husband, Mrs. Beach is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Amer Folsom of Auburn; a son, Malcom Beach, federal narcotic inspector of Syracuse; three grandchildren, Amer Folsom, Jr., Elliott Folsom, and Dickie Folsom; and, by a sister, Mrs. Bell Benbow, of Wisconsin, who recently returned to her home after having spent about two years here.
Funeral services of Mrs. Beach were held Tuesday afternoon from the late home, with Rev. Floyd Fennen, pastor of the First Baptist Church, of which Mrs. Beach was a member, officiating. Interment was made in Woodlawn Cemetery.
