Alma R Heselmeyer, 105 years old of Taylor, passed away peacefully on Feb. 2, 2012.

She was born on Oct. 16, 1906 to Herman and Annie Ramm. On Nov. 11, 1943 she married Henry Heselmeyer who preceded her in death. She was also preceded by her parents, six brothers and four sisters.

She was a retired teacher. Her teaching career started in 1930 at New Hope followed by Rogers Ranch, Turkey Creek, Round Rock and Thrall where she retired in 1972 with 30 years of service.

She is survived by sister-in-law Emma Heselmeyer of Taylor, a number nieces and nephews including Shirley Volek and Stephannie Woelfel of Taylor.

The family would like to thank Granger Villa staff for the wonderful care they provided to Alma during her stay there.

Visitation will be 5-7 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 5 at Condra Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 3 p.m., Monday, Feb. 6 at Condra Funeral Home with Rev. Gary Veit officiating.
