Howard began working for GM in 1962 at the Cadillac Tank Plant, and after 40 years of service, he retired from the Parma Chevy Plant in 2002. He was a member of the UAW local 1005, North Ridgeville Auxiliary Police from 1967 -1979 and a former member of the LaGrange Masonic Lodge 399.
Survivors include his daughter, Melinda “Kate” Miller of Elyria and half-brother, Robert Morris of Brookpark.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Madeline “Kay” Miller in 2002; and his parents, Howard Miller, Sr. and Violet Cook.
Visitations will be Thursday, November 13, 2014 from 4 until 8 P.M., at Bogner Family Funeral Home, North Ridgeville. Funeral Services will be held Friday, November 14, 2014, at 10 A.M., in the funeral home. The Reverend Chuck Behrens will officiate. Burial will be in Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon.
