David R. Barndt, 69, of Johnstown RD 4, died June 2, 1995, in the V.A.
Hospital in Pittsburgh. Born Oct. 24, 1925, in Hollsopple, son of the late
Herman E. and Cilvesta (Blough) Barndt. Also preceded in death by two
brothers, Rudolph and Charles. Survived by wife, the former Kathryn A.
Himes; and these children: Joyce A., wife of Sheldon King of Rockwood;
Audrey K., wife of Thomas Voss, Adams, N.Y., and Corinne M., wife of Mike
Cressman, Acton, Mass., three grandchildren, Kathryn, Luke and Emily; three
step-grandchildren, Sherri Trowbridge, Rose Lottig, and Sandy King; and six
step great-grandchildren. He was a brother of Emma Kathryn, wife of Willie
Stonebracker of Albright, W. Va., Member of St. David's Evangelical Lutheran
Church. Retired from Bethlehem Steel in 1987 with over 30 years service.
Death ended marriage union of 48 years. Family receiving friends from 2 to
4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday and Monday, at George E. Mason Funeral Home, Inc.,
Davidsville; and from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. Tuesday at
St. David's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Davidsville. Rev. Nelson
Ilgenfritz officiating. Interment, Kaufman Cemetery.
