Mrs. Davis attended school in Forest, lived in Kirklin and Lebanon prior to moving to Frankfort. She was a waitress and sales clerk, working at the Doghouse Restaurant and V & F Sales, retiring in 1983. Marie was a member of the Westpoint Christian Church, a lifetime member of the Kirklin Home Economics Club and Euchre Club.
Survived by 4 Daughters: Charlotte L. Henry of Frankfort, Mary J. Hollingsworth of Boone County, Barbara “Jane” (Jack) Evans of Lafayette and Pamela J. Burton of Frankfort 12 Grandchildren, 13 Great Grandchildren and 5 Great Great Granchildren.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Kenneth H. Davis in 2004, 3 sisters and 1 brother.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Friday, November 14, 2014 at Goodwin Funeral Home. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Jill Carroll will officiate the services. Burial will be in Green Lawn Memorial Park.
