Scott, 61, of Hastings, MI passed away on Monday, November 10, 2014 after long a battle with cancer at Faith Hospice at Trillium Woods in Byron Center. Scott was born to Paul S. and Shirley I. (Gallandt) Reed.

He was a 1971 graduate of Lakewood High School then graduated from Michigan State University. In 1975 he married the love of his life Dianne Livingston.

Scott had a long work history in the food production industry which began at his family-owned Lake Odessa Canning Company. For the last nineteen years he proudly worked for Roskam Baking Company. When not working he enjoyed watching the Spartans, classic cars, cruising, classic TV shows, hobby farming or spending time with his family or friends. He was also known for his trivia prowess, never missing Jeopardy!

Scott leaves behind; wife Dianne, daughters Kelly (Doug) Dalman and Holly Reed, grandsons Neil and Owen Dalman, siblings Paul S. Reed Jr., Christopher (Beth) Reed, James (Pam) Reed, Sally (Scott) Meggs and Clark (Dede) Reed, several nieces and nephews and best friend Von Goodemoot.

Scott was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services were planned for Friday, November 14, 2014 at the Koops Funeral Chapel Lake Odessa, MI.

Memorials in Scott's name may be given to Faith Hospice, Byron Center, MI.
