Son of Jesse Creed Anderson and his wife Fannie Elizabeth Pruitt Anderson.

Mr. Jesse R. “Kettle Creek Jack” Anderson of Tompkinsville, Kentucky, formerly of the Kettle Creek Community, passed away Sunday, December 4, 2016 at The Palace Healthcare at Red Boiling Springs, Tennessee, having attained the age of 94 years, 8 months, and 3 days. He was born in Monroe County, Kentucky on Saturday, April 1, 1922, the son of J. Creed and Fannie Elizabeth (Pruitt) Anderson. He was a member of Hickory Grove Church of Christ, a merchant, and a farmer. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Marvin Bill Anderson and his sister, Robbie Green Anderson. He is survived by his sons, Ronnie (and Tamara) Anderson and Richard DeWight (and Deborah) Anderson, both of Indianapolis, Indiana, his grandchildren, Veronica (and Jason) LePinske and Gabi Anderson, and special friends, Joey and Patty Branham of Tompkinsville, Kentucky. A Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, December 8, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at the Stalcup Cemetery in Cumberland County, Kentucky. Norris-New Funeral Home of Burkesville, Kentucky is honored to be in charge of all funeral arrangements.
