He was born on January 23, 1921 in Arden, Texas to Mike and Lillian Muckleroy.
He was a World War II Veteran. During his lifetime, he worked as a glazer, a carpenter and a rancher.
Mike was a member of the May Church of Christ.
He is survived by a son, Mike Muckleroy III of May; a son, Marc Muckleroy and wife Penny of San Antonio; a son, Matt Muckleroy of San Antonio and a daughter, Mileen Kahlich and husband Wayne of Brownwood; ten grandchildren and six great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, one brother and two sisters.
