Cindy Hamilton, 44, of Hixson died Friday evening, Sept. 20, 2002, at her residence, after a long battle with leukemia.
She was a member of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Christine Owen; her brother, Bob Owen; and her sister-in-law, Debby Hamilton.
Survivors include her husband, Barry R. Hamilton; father and stepmother, James and Barbara Owen, Hixson; three sisters and their husbands, Debbie and Rich Conkling of San Diego, Calif., Sandra and Randy Stansell of Hixson, and Sheila and Fuston Rector of Soddy Daisy; one brother and his wife, Ben and Julie Owen, Memphis; Cindy’s grandmothers, Louise Owen of Hixson, and Pauline Ables, Poyen, Ark.; Barry’s grandmother, Estella Smith, Hixson; mother and father-in-law, John and Betty Day, Hixson; brother-in-law and his wife, Brett and Barbara Hamilton, Rossville; sister-in-law and her husband, Darla and Herman Olvey, Hixson; several aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews;also many friends and neighbors.
