57, husband of Laura Crowe Conkwright, passed away on Saturday, November 8, 2014, at his home. He was born in Winchester, KY, on August 8, 1957, to the late Barbara Conkwright King and Asa Conkwright, Sr. Mr. Conkwright was a retired Auctioneer and a member of Church of God Cathedral and also attended Eastside Baptist.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by 3 daughters, Barbara Maxine Conkwright II, Heather Lynn Conkwright and Nelda Louise Conkwright; 3 sisters, Rachel (Terry) Hall, Sally (Doug) Thornberry and Margaret (Danny) King; 2 brothers, Asa Conkwright, Jr. and Jerry (Mattie) Conkwright; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services will be conducted at 11:00am, Friday, November 14, 2014 at Church of God Cathedral by Pastor David Douglas and Robert Gayheart. Burial will be in Winchester Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Daniel Thornberry, Jessie Thornberry, Nicholas Thornberry, Joshua Conkwright, Wesley Conkwright, Asa Conkwright III, John Conkwright and Timothy Hall. Honorary pallbearers will be Joe Price, Robert Gayheart, Wayne Elkins, Eddie Caskey, Brandon Sparks, Todd Strange, Steve Ormsby, Ron Slone, Rudy Crowe, Vernon Adams and all the men of the churches.
Visitation will be Thursday, November 13, from 5:00-7:00pm, followed by a Celebration of Life Service to begin at 7:00pm.
