ASHTABULA - Floyd H. Lemmon, 72, of 4425 Collins Blvd, died Thursday at home. He was born Feb. 25, 1917, in Furnace Run, Pa., to the late Herman and Hazel (Rivers) Lemmon. Before retiring, he was employed by Union Carbide as a gas controller. He was a Seaman Second Class in the U.S. Navy. Survivors include his wife, Elsie Leona (Nolder) Lemmon, four sons, Harold Rupert, Alan Lemmon, Dennis Lemmon, Randy Lemmon, all of Ashtabula, two daughters, Gloria Jane Rought, JoAnne Lemmon, both of Ashtabula, two brothers, Raymond Lemmon, Alan Lemmon, both of Butler, Pa., one sister, Margaret Holmes of New Castle, Pa., 25 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Service will be 3 p.m. Monday at the Massucci Memorial Chapel, 700 Lake Ave. with the Rev. Ismael Hamilton of the Freedom Worship Center officiating. Burial will follow at the Greenlawn Memory Garden. Calling hours are 1 p.m. to the hour of service Monday. Contributions may be made to the Heart and Lung Associations. Following the service at the cemetery, there will be full military rites conducted.
