Opal Leon Sharp of McAlester, Oklahoma died Saturday, November 08, 2014 at the age of 88. Opal was born April 29, 1926 in Hulbert, Oklahoma to Andrew Botts and Louella (Jenkins) Botts. She was the oldest of 7 children. She enjoyed flowers, gardening, quilting and sewing. She was quite the seamstress and would make her own clothing. She worked as a cook at the Champion Truck Stop in Savanna for several years until her retirement. She especially enjoyed cooking for her family. She was preceded in death by her husbands, James Johnson and John Sharp and children, Barbara Hammers, Gary Johnson and Virginia Johnson.; sister, Billie Kassinger; brothers, Reuben Botts and Floyd Botts.
