Virginia Burkman passed away May 4, 2011 after a long illness.
She had lived in Los Altos and Mountain View for over 60 years with her husband Victor who predeceased her.
She is survived by her daughter, Nina Wood, of Mountain View and grandchildren Daniel and Rachel.
The PEO Sisterhood was a major part of her life and she will be missed by her sisters in Chapter HE. A gentle, humble and caring spirit, she walked softly on the earth. The family will celebrate her life on August 24.
