ST SIMONS ISLAND -- Grace Mae Meeks, 86, died Feb. 27 at Georgia Regional Medical Center in Brunswick.
She was a native of Coffee County and lived most of her life in Bacon and Coffee Counties. She moved to Glynn County, where she resided for the past six years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Alma.
SURVIVORS: a son, Grady Meeks of Brunswick; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
GRAVESIDE SERVICE: 1 p.m. today in Rose Hill Cemetery in Alma. -Savannah Now, March 1999
