Weaver, Anne Catherine Cathy (nee Kearney) of St. Louis, MO passed peacefully into the spiritual world on Sunday, October 26, 2014. She is the wife of the late Kenneth W. Weaver, C.P.M., the love of her life. She leaves two daughters and their families to cherish her memory: Susan Weaver Sylvia, her husband Edward F. Sylvia, and Joan Weaver Judd, wife of the late John J. Judd, and her beloved grandson, Adam J. Sylvia. Dear sister, sister-in-law, aunt, great aunt and friend to many, including neighbors, church friends and the Mustangs Athletic Club. A Rosati-Kain graduate, she worked after WWII at Midwest Fittings, where she met her husband and married. She was a wonderful wife, loving mother and creative homemaker who shared her talents as a skilled seamstress, visual artist, gardener and crafter. She was also an excellent cook and hostess. She was a Girl Scout leader, member of the Altar Guild at her church, and a long-time St. Louis Zoo Parent. She loved music, nature, art and life. Services: A joyful memorial event will be held at 4:00pm on Saturday, November 22, at Ambruster Chapel, 6633 Clayton Road, Clayton, MO 63117. A private interment was held at Jefferson Barracks Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the St. Louis Zoo Parents program.
