Mr. Monty was a retired employee of the Like Champlain and Moriah Railroad.
He is survived by three daughters; Mrs. Martin Broughton of Middlebury. Vt., Mrs. William Goff of Plattsburgh, N.Y., and Mrs. Clarence Hanley of Napa, California.
Interment was at the St. Patrick's Cemetery in Moriah, N.Y.
In 1940 (Age 53) he resides with his wife Daffodil (44), one son Ray (16), and one daughter Gladys (20) on Whitney Street in Port Henry, N.Y.
He worked as a Section Hand for the Steam Railroad.
