Mrs. Jane W. Ely Dies. – Mrs. Jane W. Ely died June 29 at 120 East Twenty-ninth street after an illness of several years. Mrs. Ely was born in New York in 1817 and came to Portland in 1891 with her daughter, Mrs. H. W. Williamson, at whose residence she died. Mrs. Williamson is the wife of the secretary of the State Board of Agriculture. Mrs. Ely is survived by a son, Charles E. Ely, of De Smet, S.D.; two daughters, Mrs. C. G. Moltzner of Moline, Ill., and Mrs. Williamson, of Portland.
