Burbe Jackson Cherry, 65, of Kirbyville, died Tuesday, Mar. 8, 2005 at Jasper Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, March 11, at Central Baptist Church in Kirbyville with a 2:00 p.m. graveside at Pine Grove Cemetery in Camden, Texas. Visitation will begin at 11:00 Thursday at the funeral home. A native of Camden, he had lived in Kirbyville 42 years and was a minister and a retired electrician for Temple-Inland in Evadale. He was a U.S. Army Veteran. He is survived by his wife, Betty Cherry of Kirbyville; 2 sons, David Cherry and wife Lynn of Kirbyville and Paul Cherry and wife Belle of Silsbee; 5 daughters, Jane Marie Daniel and husband Eddie of Kountze; Alice Withers and husband Will of Buna; Mary Warden and husband Don of Jasper, Paula Fleck and husband Michael of Sam Rayburn; and Emily Smith and husband Tony of Vidor; a brother, Aubrey Lee Cherry and wife Jozell of Chester; a sister, Dener Mae Foster and husband Glenn of Mt.
