Kevin Douglas Bridges of Athens passed away Aug. 9 at his residence. He was 52.
Kevin was a native of Madison County and a resident of Limestone County for the past seven years. He was a member of the Huntsville Fire Department for over 19 years and a veteran of the U.S. Navy.
Survivors include his mother, Lorna Jo Bridges; one brother, the Rev. Curtis Bridges; and two nieces, Caitlin Bridges and Gabrielle Bridges, all of Huntsville.
Visitation will be from 6 to 7:30 p.m. today at Berryhill Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with the Revs. Curtis Bridges and Bryan Martin officiating. Burial will follow in Huntsville Memory Gardens.
