Funeral services are scheduled for Sunday, November 15, 2009 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Reverend Truett Simmermon will officiate. The family will receive friends on Saturday, November 14, 2009 from 2 – 4 and 6 – 9 pm at the funeral home.
Mrs. Parker was born April 27, 1934 in Hall County, Georgia to the late Claude Wiley Jarrard and Roberta Haynes Jarrard. Emily was retired from Dutch Quality Foods and was a member of Northside Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, William L. Parker.
Mrs. Parker is survived by her son, Doug Parker of Gainesville, brother & sister-in-law, John & Cathy Jarrard of Gainesville, and a number of nieces and nephews.
