Muncie - Roger D. George, 75, went to be with his Lord Thursday morning,

November 6, 2014, at his residence.

He was born April 18, 1939, in Portsmouth, Ohio, the son of Bill and

Lorine (Shover) George.

Roger was employed with Duffy Tool for thirteen years, and then moved to

Tucker, GA and worked for Tucker Tool Technology for twelve years. He most

recently was employed with Speedway in Muncie.

Mr. George was a member of Lutheran of the Cross Church, enjoyed watching

Nascar racing and riding horses; and loved his dog and two cats.

He is survived by his wife, Alice George; nine children, James Dean

George, Steven George, Warren Wright, Owen Hartley, Dove Shultzaberger, John

Neuhart, James Neuhart, Joseph Neuhart, and Jean Bennett; thirteen grandchildren;

thirteen great grandchildren; and a brother, Rodney George.

Roger was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, November 10, 2014,

with Pastor Jim Bischoff officiating. Burial will be in Glen Haven Memorial

Gardens in New Carlisle, OH at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, November 10, 2014.

Friends may call at The Meeks Mortuary and Crematory, Washington Street

Chapel, from 9:00 a.m. until service time at 10:00 a.m. Monday, November 10,

2014.
