Rites Held For Nellie Ryan Saturday -
Funeral services were held Saturday morning at Sacred Heart Church for Miss Nellie Ryan, 79, who died Thursday afternoon at her home. She had been in failing health for several months.
Miss Ryan was born Dec. 6, 1892 on a farm south of Brayton to Thomas and Mary Ann Callahan Ryan. At an early age she moved with her family to a farm north of Greeley. In 1948 she and her brothers moved to their present home in Greeley. She was a member of the Third Order of Dominicans and the Legion of Mary.
She is survived by a sister, brothers, John T. of Greeley and Thomas of Hastings; and a niece, Mrs. Lonnie (Mary Ellen) Miller of Hastings.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and one siter.
