MRS. VERA M. LLOYD
GLACE BAY, July 27 - Death of Mrs. Vera Marguerite Lloyd, wife of Melvin Lloyd, Port Morien, occurred at the Glace Bay General Hospital this morning where she had been a patient undergoing treatment for the last three weeks.
The late Mrs. Lloyd was a native of Port Morien where she was well and favorably known to a wide circle of friends and acquaintances. She is survived by her mother, her husband, Melvin Lloyd and two children, Lawrence Franklyn and Gloria Elaine Lloyd.
The remains were removed to Lowden's Funeral Parlor where they will repose until 1:30 Saturday when the funeral will be held. A short service will be held at the Funeral Home prior to depature of the cortege for Homeville where Rev. E. C. Churchill will conduct services at the church there. Interment will be made at Holmville. The funeral will be under the direction of Lowden's Funeral Service. -Sydney Post Record July 28, 1939
