Ida Nell Hudson was born in Houston to Henry Nelson Hudson (1927 Oklahoma-2000 Humble, Texas) and Ida Marie Hill Hudson (1934 Oklahoma - 2015 Richmond, Texas). Ida’s parents were raised in Oklahoma and moved to Houston in 1949. Her father worked as foreman in a canning company and raised his family in Houston. She attended MacArthur High School. She married Charles N. Sanders in 1974 in Montgomery County, Texas, and they divorced in later life. She died in Humble, Texas at age 62.
