The funeral of Mrs. Maria Elizabeth Drake, wife of Dr. W. S. Drake, of Portland, who died at St. Vincent’s Hospital Friday, will be held today at the Taylor-street Methodist Church, of which she was a member. The burial will be at Riverview Cemetery. Mrs. Drake’s maiden name was Guthrie. She was born in Shippenberg, Penn., in 1843. She was married in November, 1865. She came to Portland with her husband in 1893. She is survived, Dr. W. S. Drake, and three sons, Dr. Emmett Drake, Dr. Fred Drake and R. G. Drake, all residents of Portland, and by five grandchildren.
