Leonzo Frazier was born on December 22, 1895 in DC to Henry and Annie Frazier.

His mother Annie married William Millard, who raised Leonzo. They lived in the Georgetown neighborhood.

Leonzo married Laverne Johnson, they had 3 children (Joseph, Leonzo and Arnetta) and settled in Philadelphia where he opened a barber shop. In 1931, Laverne died.

In 1940, Leonzo saved Dorothy Roberts, a woman who owned a beauty parlor next to his shop from suicide. This is documented in the Afro-American newspaper.

In 1946, Leonzo married Mamie Hart. He died February 22, 1950 at Georgetown Hospital from a strange homicide.
