She was born in Knott County on December 14, 1915, and was a member of the Gray Holiness Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Fred Barnett; her eldest son, Fred Barnett, Jr.; and all nine of her sisters and brothers.
Her survivors include her daughter, Mary M. Hutton of Corbin; a son and beloved daughter-in-law, Billy P. and Kelly L. Barnett of Corbin. Barnett lived with her son and daughter-in-law the last six years of her life.
Other survivors include her four precious grandchildren, Rebecca McCoy and husband Jamie of Winchester, Roger Hutton II of Corbin and Ransom E.E. Barnett and Maxwell W.R. Barnett of Corbin; and one great-grandson, Alexander.
She leaves behind other family members and countless friends to mourn her passing.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 pm Friday at the Hart Funeral Home with Rev. Dan Watkins officiating. Burial will follow in the Resthaven Cemetery. Pallbearers will be nephews and great-nephews.
