Mrs. Fannie Maxson, a resident of Milton almost 50 years, died Saturday noon in her apartment at 110 Whitewater street. She had not been well for two years and during the past six months nurses had cared for her in her home.

Fannie Anna May, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Fuller, was born May 28, 1865, in Belle Run, Pennsylvania. The family came to Wisconsin during her girlhood. She worked as an apprentice to a milliner before her marriage in Milton on Sept. 23, 1886, to Horace G. Maxson of Ceres, Pa. They lived in and near Milton all of their married life with the exception of one year spent in Colorado because of Mr. Maxson's health. He died early in 1936 in their home on Rogers street where she kept a boarding house for college students and others. An excellent cook, she was affectionately called 'Ma Maxson' by her boarders.

Mrs. Maxson was a member of the Milton S. D. B. church for over 55 years. She was a charter member of the What-So-Ever circle of King's Daughters and a member of Io Rebekah lodge.

A brother, Glen Fuller of Milton Junction, and several nieces, nephews and cousins survive.

Funeral services were held in the Milton S. D. B. church at 2 p. m. Tuesday, the Rev. Carroll L. Hill officiating. Burial was in Milton cemetery, pallbearers being Geo. R. Boss, L. A. Babcock, J. H. Coon, Elwyn Johnson, W. H. Waterman and H. B. Crandall.
