Leonard E. Anderson Jr. 47 of 149 Allen's Ave. Galesburg, Illinois died Thur. April 26, 2007 at 1:57 a.m. in Galesburg Cottage Hospital. He was born October 25, 1959 in Terre Haute Indiana. The son of Leonard E. Anderson Sr. and Hattie Spillers Anderson. He married Markita Greene, January 16, 1991 in Galesburg Illinois

He is survived by his wife Markita Anderson, 5 sons Leonard Anderson III, Bill Anderson of Terre Haute, Indiana and Blake Anderson of Galesburg, lll.,1 stepson, Justus Kimbrough of Portland, Oregon, 2 daughters , Joi Greene Anderson and Nahketah Anderson of Galesburg, ill.. His mother Hattie Pigg of Bruno, Arkansas, 1 brother, Gleason Stewart of Temple, Texas, 4 sisters, Hattie Johnson and Sheryl Anderson both of Chicago Ill. Karol Anderson of Kankakee Ill.and, Marlena Anderson of Milwaukee, Wisconsin and many nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, 1 son , 1 stepson and his paternal grandparents.
He attended elementary school in Galesburg ill.. and went to high school in Chicago lll. He attended art school in Chicago lll.. He worked for the City of Terre Haute for several years before he became disabled. He was an artist who passed on his legacy of art to his own children. He was a teacher to Jamie Van Swearingen in the art of expressing herself by drawing. He was a devoted husband and father.
He was a member of Community Temple Church Of God in Christ.

Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints .
