Edna worked for Kib Warren’s Inc. as a bookkeeper for many years. After her retirement in 1984, she was a private duty nurse for several years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leon French, brother, Art Blanken, sisters, Gertrude Stout, Clara Grundmann, and Lisetta Grundmann.
She is survived by two sons and their wives, Rodney and Terri French and Jim and Kathie French, of Shawnee, brother and sister-in-law Marvin and Earlene Blanken of Layton, Utah, and brother-in-law Leo French of Shawnee, 7 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Also by special friends Darryl and Belinda Fisher and their family, Jennifer and Quinton Trapp, and Richard and Sandy Stapp.
She was a lifetime member of St. John’s Lutheran Church and a member of the Sunlighters group there for many years.
She passed from this life on January 26, 2015. She is loved and will be missed by her friends and family but we rejoice with her knowing she has reached her goal, to live with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for eternity.
