Nancy Swisher, 47, of 535 Park Drive, Boiling Springs, died Thursday, March 11, 1999 at home.

Born March 24, 1951 in Patterson, N.J., she was a daughter of Nicholas Kakalecz of the Veterans Hospital in Lyons, N.J., and the late Elizabeth Pender Kakalecz.

Mrs. Swisher was past president of W.G. Rice Elementary School PTA, a member of South Middleton Township Fire Company Auxiliary and a former Girl Scout leader in Boiling Springs. She had attended Glasboro University and St. John Lutheran Church, Boiling Springs.

She had been employed as a data entry clerk at the former TSA in Mechanicsburg.

In addition to her father, surviving are her husband, Jay "Buck" Swisher Jr.; three daughters, Wendy Ann, Janet Lynn and Tina Marie, all of Boiling Springs; three sisters, Betty Glowacka of Morganville, N.J., Margaret Lynch of Westville, N.J., and Sonya Wuelsing of Perth Amboy, N.J.; and one brother, Nick Kakalecz of Port Monmouth, N.J.

Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Ronan Funeral Home, 255 York Road, South Middleton Township, with the Rev. Carolyn S. DeStephano officiating.

Burial will be in Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens, West Pennsboro Township.

Friends may call Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
