Fred Allen Anderson, 72, of Rockford died Thursday, November 7, 2002, in Rockford Memorial Hospital after a short illness. He was born March 1, 1930, to August Frederick "Fred" Anderson and Lydia Rose Huebner Anderson in Redfield, South Dakota. He married Margaret Murial 'Peggy' Weight in Huron, South Dakota on January 31, 1958. Employed at ELCO for 20-plus years and worked as Hot Line Freight driver for eight years. Survivors include two sons, one daughter, six grandchildren, one brother and one sister. He was preceded in death by one son, Fred Allen Anderson Jr., and one brother, John August Anderson. He was buried in the Mausoleum on Thursday, November 14, 2002.
