He was the son of Columbus Franklin Bradley and Mary Ann Elizabell “Mollie” Simmons. He married Johnnie Russell (1898-1915), on 28, 1912, at Conway, Faulkner County, Arkansas. His second wife was Mary Leona Stripling, whom he married May 6, 1917, at Conway, Faulkner County, Arkansas. Brother Bradley was a member of the church of Christ. He was a barber. When opportunity presented itself, he preached the gospel of Jesus Christ.
