Bedford Gazette - May 16, 1902
On May 7, Miss Mollie Cuppett, of New Paris was united in marriage to Harry Bisel of Napier Township by Rev. W. H. Bowden.

In 1913 Harry started a passenger transportation service, using a 5 passenger Maxwell touring car. The service took people to and from the Fishertown train station.

Around 1921 Harry was also the mail carrier delivering mail between Schellsburg and Bedford for many years, making two auto trips a day except Sunday for many years.

In 1930 Harry and his brother, Charles, formed the Bisel Bros. Lines. This was a bus and mail service between Bedford, Windber and Johnstown. Eventually the service to Johnstown was discontinued and the trips were only between Bedford, Schellsburg, New Paris and Pleasantville to Windber. Charles continued to drive the "mail bus" through the 1940's, making two trips a day.

Harry and Mollie lived in the house previously owned by Lorenzo and Naomi Furry.

Harry was a harness racer at the Bedford Fair for many years.

Harry's second wife:

Effie Null - daughter of William and Perlena (Spiker) Null
