Judith Ann Fletcher, 75, died Thursday, November 6, 2014 at Kerner Ridge Assisted Living. Judy was born on October 20, 1939 in Madison County, Ohio to Donald and Rachel Toops Morehart. She enjoyed reading, sewing and cooking. Most of all Judy enjoyed spending time with her family, especially their annual beach trips! Judy shared her love of God through her membership at Shady Grove Wesleyan Church where she was very active in the choir.
Judy was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers-in-law, Joe Cathel and Jim Dietz.
Mrs. Fletcher is survived by her husband, Larry Bruce Fletcher; a son, Derek Landon Fletcher (wife, Christine); a daughter, Leigh Ann Schmidt (husband, David); four grandchildren, Sydney, Mason and Samuel Fletcher, and Corey Schmidt; three sisters, Barbara Cathel, Kathy Streitenberger and Mary Dietz; one brother, Paul Morehart (wife, Meg); many extended family members, friends and church family.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 3:30 p.m., Saturday, November 8, 2014 at Shady Grove Wesleyan Church with Pastors Nate Kingsbury and Phil Kirkman officiating. Burial will follow at Shady Grove Wesleyan Church Cemetery. The Family will receive friends From 5-8 P.m. Friday, November 7, at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel.
