Naomi Gray Rogers, age 100 of Winchester, passed away Sunday, October 16, 2005 at Southern Tennessee Medical Center in Winchester. Mrs. Rogers was a member of the Winchester First Baptist Church for 55 years. She retired in 1967 after working 25 years with Genesco as a faney stitcher. She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Charles W. Rogers in 1979 and a grandson, Charles Gray Rogers, Jr. Mrs. Rogers is survived by two daughters, Billye Bass and Jean (Frank) Luttrell of Winchester; a brother, Charles Gray Rogers of Harvey, Illinois; six grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and ten great-great-grandchildren. The funeral service will be conducted Wednesday, October 19, 2005 at 2 p.m. from the Roy B. Watson Funeral Chapel with Rev. Darrell Williams officiating. Interment will be in Franklin Memorial Gardens in Winchester with Deacons of the Winchester First Baptist Church serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be held Tuesday, October 18, 2005 from 5-8 p.m. at Watson-North Funeral Home Chapel.
