Alice Artilissa Stough was born 3/28/1873 in Tuscarawas Co, Ohio to Josiah & Artilessa Stough. (Ref: Tuscarawas Co Records (SSSpg321).

She married Franklin W Baker in Tuscarawas Co. Franklin died in 1907 after which Alice remarried John A Rowe. (Ref: Tuscarawas Co Records (SSSpg321).

A 2/14/1912 letter from Josiah Stough to his sister Elizabeth Baltzly in Nebraska states: Mary Shelter & Ida Wells are still at their old places and well and Alice Rowe are in Oklahoma City - they have built a good house and want to sell it, they want $4000 for it, and then move back here. They have commenced to build a house here the frame is up. (SSSpg322).

Alice and John Rowe moved back to Tuscarawas Co, Ohio shortly after 2/1912 and they both died here.
