Sarah Lynn Crawford, 30, of Clyde, now embraced in the arms of her Lord, died suddenly and unexpectedly on Sunday, Nov. 2, 2014, in Grant Memorial Hospital in Columbus.

Born Sept. 11, 1984, Sarah was raised on the family farm near Clyde as the cherished daughter of Steve and Paula (Palmer) Pearson.

She grew up with twin brother, Steven, sister, Melissa, and a group of amazingly close and special friends. She enthusiastically participated in 4H, FFA, numerous school activities and sports, particularly excelling in basketball and softball at Clyde High School, graduating in 2003. She completed a BA in Social and Behavioral Sciences at The Ohio State University and earned a Master of Science in Education and Allied Professions from the University of Dayton. She applied her knowledge and skill in working with people while employed at social agencies in Columbus, Delaware County and most recently at the Huron County Board of DD.

Sarah was the loving wife of Ben Crawford, whom she married Oct. 16, 2010, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Clyde. She truly relished being a devoted mother to Jack James Crawford and a caring stepmother to Emory Logan Crawford and Elaina Ann Crawford.

In addition to her parents, husband and children, she is survived by sister, Melissa, and husband, Jon Wolf, and daughters, Emily, Abigail and Hannah; brother, Steven Pearson, and wife, Holly, and daughter, Ella. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins; father and mother-in-law, James and Susan Crawford of Minerva, Ohio; brother-in-law, Grant, and wife, Paje, and children, Grant and Madeline; sister-in-law, Lydia Crawford, and fiancé, Patrick McDermott; and brother-in-law, Evan, and son, Daniel. With her brilliant smile and vivacious nature, Sarah had and will continue to have a profound impact on everyone who was blessed to know her. Even in her sudden and untimely death, she is blessing many more lives through her gift of organ donation.
