W. NUNNELEE CAMP DIES AT FATHER'S HOME

Member of Texas Legislature and Prominent Attorney Passed Away After Short Illness

Walter Nunnelee Camp, a member of the Texas legislature, a nephew of Judge J.L. Camp of the Forty-Fifth judicial district and a widely known attorney of San Antonio, died at 2:30 o'clock Saturday afternoon, at the home of his father, W. R. Camp, 306 Cincinnati Avenue, West End. Mr. Camp was taken suddenly ill less that two weeks ago, prior to which time he was apparently in the best of health. His death came as a shock to scores of his intimate friends.

Mr. Camp was a native of Jefferson, Marion County, Texas, coming to San Antonio with his father at the age of 10 years, since which time he lived continuously in this city. He was a graduate of the state university and upon the completion of his study of law, returned here and engaged in practice with his father, under the firm name Camp & Camp. He was elected to the legislature from Bexar County two years ago.

Mr. Camp was 30 years of age, yet one of the most prominent of the younger members of the San Antonio bar. He enjoyed a large circle of friends and acquaintances, most of whom he numbered as almost intimate friends.

Surviving besides his father, W. R. Camp are two brothers, John F. and William Camp. He also leaves an uncle, Judge J.L Camp of this city and an uncle T.W. Camp, now in California; an aunt, Mrs. P.J. Lowe, and two cousins, Dr. J.L. Felder and Camp Felder, both of this city.

The funeral will be held from the home of his father, 306 West Cincinnati Avenue, at 4 o'clcok this afternoon and interment will be made in the Dignowity Cemetery. The bearers will be F.C. Davies, W.A. Morris, Seth Searcy, Marshall Terrell, J.T. McNeal and T.J. Newton
