Joseph R. Savage, 36, died Tuesday, Nov. 4, 2014, at his home.

He was a member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church.

He was born in Celina, Ohio, on April 10, 1978, to Clarence and Beckie (Sellers) Savage. He married Tamara J. Becker on Sept. 2, 2010, and she survives.

Also surviving are his father and stepmother, Clarence and Janet Savage of Kenton, Ohio; his mother and stepfather, Beckie and Bobby Flippo of North Augusta, South Carolina; three brothers, Sam Savage of Tennessee, Jake Brown of Ohio, and Josh Hurley of South Carolina; a sister, Jodi Brown of Ohio; three stepsisters, Michelle Barnes of Ohio, Christine Shaw of South Carolina, and Andrea Bennett of South Carolina; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a stepbrother Bobby Flippo.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Prince of Peace Cemetery, rural Hudson, with Pastor James Elsner officiating.

Memorials are to the donor’s choice.
