Ms. Joye Miles, 71, of Union City died 6:30 a.m. Thursday, November 6, 2014, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Union City.

Memorial services will be conducted 4:00 p.m. Sunday in the chapel of Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home. Sherry Bardin will officiate.

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home from 3:00 p.m. until the hour of services Sunday.

Memorial contributions may take the form of donations to Hometown Walk of Hope, P.O. Box 482, Union City, Tennessee 38281 or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Ms. Miles was born February 9, 1943, in Dorena, Missouri, daughter of the late Joseph Andrew Lattus, Sr. and the late Mary (McKelvey) Lattus.

She had been employed at the former Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company in Union City and was of the Catholic faith.

She is survived by three daughters and two sons-in-law, Tanya and John Long of Troy, and Ginger Dotson and Deia and Chris Saunders all of Danville, Virginia; one brother and sister-in-law, Jerry and Helen Lattus of Wilmington, North Carolina; one sister-in-law, Carol Lattus of Hickman, Kentucky; seven grandchildren, Andrea Joy of Dyersburg, Alexandria Sawyer of Fulton, Kentucky, Brock Griffin of Union City, Trad Long and Ty Long both of Troy, and Karagan Saunders and Remington Saunders both of Danville, Virginia; and seven great grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by one brother, Joseph Andrew Lattus, Jr.
