Martha Lynn Adams, age 94, of Amity, passed away on Wednesday, September 23, 2020.

She was born on March 22, 1926, in Amity, the daughter of Fayette Stockwell Fincher and Alsia Hunter Fincher. On April 14, 1945, she was married to Hoyt Adams, who preceded her in death on June 2, 2003. She was also preceded in death by her parents.

She was a member of the Amity Methodist Church and an avid reader. For several years Martha was a foster grandmother in the Amity Elementary School, where she loved and cared for her many students. Martha's greatest joy in life was taking care of her family, whom she dearly loved. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend, who will be deeply missed.

She is survived by her three children and their spouses, Carol and Travis Bishop of Hot Springs, Susan "Susie" and Mike Telaga of Huntsville, Alabama and Bernie Adams of Amity; seven grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; her brother and sister-in-law, Charlie and Jacque Fincher of Midwest City, Oklahoma; her sister and brother-in-law, Trudy and Loyd Walker of Little Rock; her special friend, O.V. Guthrie of Amity; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and a host of wonderful and lifelong friends.

It was Martha's request that there would be no formal services.
