Johnson, Stevie Glenn, Jr. – age 42, passed away Friday, October 31, 2014. Born in Knoxville, TN he had been a resident of Hampton for 32 years. He was an electrician for David R. Hall, Inc. and played softball from age 5-19 and coached, umpired and volunteered for the Wythe Little League for 10 years. Stevie is survived by his mother, Nancy Edwards; father, Stevie G. Johnson, Sr.; step-mother, Susie Johnson; step-son, Richard Deel; sisters, Ashley Bye, and Tracy Edwards; half-brothers, Chad Schubert, and Brandie Schubert; and nephews, James Wilson, and Wesley Frey. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm, Monday, November 10, 2014, at Rose Mortuary Broadway Chapel with funeral services to follow at 7:00 pm with Rev. Buster Gibson officiating. The family and friends will meet at 10:45 am Tuesday, November 11, 2014, at Sherwood Memorial Gardens for a 11:00 am interment service.
