Jack was born in Audubon County and paddes away at home April 15, 2009 of congestive heart failure.
Jack farmed until 1976, and retired from farming due to health reasons. He has lived near Indianola for the past 31 years. Jack had worked for Indianola's parks department for 10 years retiring in 1989. He was a U.S. Army veteran, serving during the Korean Conflict.
