Catherine Jeanne Sellers, 86, of Austin, passed away Friday, May 23, 2014.
Jeanne and Jim were some of the first to build their home in Westwood in 1968. Jeanne later became President of the Westwood Homeowners Association where she and her neighbors fought tirelessly to keep their neighborhood safe and secure with local control.
Jeanne's hobbies included painting, antiques, garage sales and genealogy. She will be missed by many.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James (Jim) H. Sellers.
Jeanne is survived by her son, Stephen Chastain; daughter, Cynthia Wilson; son-in-law, Howard Wilson; granddaughters, Ryan, Hayley, and Stephanie; great-granddaughter, Kamryn; and many cousins including Stephanie Hampton and Cathy Doty.
