Mrs. Hansen was born in Coalinga on January 11, 1913 and passed away in a local nursing home on November 13, 1913. She was raised in Fellows and lived in Taft all her married life. She was an active member of the Order of Eastern Star and Native Daughters of California. She was preceded in death by her husband Howard Hansen; her sister Nadine and her brothers Quicksel, Russell, Wesley, and Allan Stewart. Mrs. Hansen's survivors include her son David R. Hansen; her grandchildren; her sisters Betty O'brien, Sadie Skaggs, Grace Fimple, and Edith Cooper; special friends Jack and Pat Killingsworth; and numerous nieces and nephews.
