Lorraine Kathryn Clark, age 81, of Cashton, Wisconsin, passed away on Tuesday, January 31, 2006, in her home surrounded by her family. She was born on January 28, 1925, in Vernon County to Gladys and Louie Olson. She was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith.

Lorraine married Alvin Clark on August 8, 1942, at the Westby parsonage. Together they worked on a dairy farm in the Cashton area for most of their married life. They were married for 37 years.

She was an active member of the WELCA and the Ruth Circle at Trinity Lutheran Church in Cashton, WI. She was treasurer/secretary of the AAL for 11 years. She helped with many benefits, which served those in need. Lorraine willingly gave of herself to others and was a great source of support to her family. Her caring ways touched the lives of all who knew her.

Lorraine is survived by her children, Larry (Dianne) Clark of Sparta, WI, Lynn Martin of Walled Lake, MI, Kathryn (Dennis) Kayon of Beaver Dam, WI, and Barbara Opsahl of La Crosse, WI; her grandchildren, Kimberly (Ken) Martin of Lewiston, ID, Susan (Sean) Olstad of Black River Falls, WI, Lisa (Edward) Gestro of South Lyon, MI, Julie (David) Oldfield of Ypsilanti, MI, Laurie (Craig) Lahti of Wixom, MI, Jennifer (Alan) Reeves of West Bend, WI, Brian Kayon of Madison, WI and Peter Opsahl of Cashton, WI; and her 11 great grandchildren. She is further survived by her brother, Harvey (Pauline) Olson of Westby, WI, and two sisters, Marjorie (Darwin) Dobbs of La Crosse, WI and Donna (Waldo) Hink of Winter Haven, FL.

Lorraine was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin Clark; and her parents, Louie and Gladys Olson.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 11, 2006, 11:00 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Cashton. Pastor Jason Stanton will officiate. Burial will follow at the Dell Cemetery. Family and friends are invited for visitation on Friday, February 10, 2006, from 5:00 p.m until 7:00 p.m. at the Torkelson Funeral Home in Cashton. Memorials are being accepted for Trinity Lutheran Church in Cashton and The Gundersen Lutheran Hospice Program in memory of Lorraine.
