Forrest G. Beach, 96 years,

formerly of Cogan Station, passed away, Wednesday, Nov. 5, 2014, at the Williamsport Home.

Born Jan. 6, 1918, in Hepburnville, he was a son of Boyd and Samantha (Metzger) Beach.

Forrest was a lifetime member of Balls Mills United Methodist Church.

He grew up working on the family farm until he was married.

He was then employed with Darling Valve & Manufacturing Co. for 35 years.
He later worked part-time at Weis for 25 years.

Forrest enjoyed hunting and gardening.

Surviving are his wife of 69 years, Ethel E. (Green) Beach, of Williamsport;
son, Ronald E. (Sondra) Beach, of Montoursville; daughter, Deborah L. (C.W.) Smith, of Williamsport;
sister, Letha Paulhamus, of Williamsport;
three grandchildren,
Christopher Smith,
Jason (Natalie) Smith,
and Tiffany (Michael) Piaskowski;
and three great-grandchildren, Sophia, Logan and Stella.

In addition to his parents, Forrest was preceded in death by a brother, Woodrow Beach, and two sisters, Pearl Smith and Naoma Lovell.

A funeral service to honor the life of Forrest will be held 10:30 a.m. Monday, Nov. 10
at Balls Mills United Methodist Church,
5941 Bloomingrove Road,
Cogan Station, PA 17728
with the Rev. Chris E. Pfleegor officiating.
Burial to follow in Twin Hills Memorial Park.
