Kenneth Wayne Sparks, 66, of Waco, passed away Saturday, November 1, 2014 at his home.
He was born on March 28, 1948 in Madison County, Kentucky, the son of the late Pleas and Mary Hollingsworth Sparks. Mr. Sparks was of the Baptist Faith and loved watching NASCAR racing and was an avid fan of Dale Earnhardt, Jr. He loved to fish and enjoyed catching "big fish."
He was also preceded in death by his brother, Charles Ernest Sparks and his sister and brother-in-law: Irene and David Price.
Survivors include a brother, Jerry Sparks of Richmond; three sisters, Beverly (Elwood) Tracy all of Richmond; Marjorie (Jasper) Pearson and Stella (Danny) McCay all of Waco.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, November 4, 2014, at the Combs, Parsons & Collins Funeral Home with Rev. Arthur Ray officiating. Burial will follow in the Flatwoods Cemetery.
Visitation will be after 12:00 P.M. (Noon) Tuesday at the Combs, Parsons & Collins Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Jasper Pearson, Chris Fritz, Charles Tribble, Elwood Tracy, Danny McCay, A. J. McDonald, Gale McCreary and Jimmy McCreary.
