Born in Boston, the daughter of David Wong and the late Doris Wong, owners of Dave Wong's China Sails restaurants, she attended Salem schools and graduated with Salem High's class of 1970, and from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, 1974.
She had lived in Marblehead for the past six years.
Mrs. Haley was co-owner of the Little Harbor Travel Agency of Marblehead. She had also been employed by Eastern Airlines, and she was well-known in the Chinatown community.
In addition to her father and her husband, Elizabeth Haley Duncan of Marblehead; two brothers, Douglas Wong of Wichita, Kan., and Dana Wong of Peabody; a sister, Doreen Wong Jardin of Brookline; and a grandson.
A memorial funeral service was held in Old North Congregational Church on March 23. Arrangements were by the Eustis & Cornell Funeral Home, 142 Elm St., Marblehead.
